Only 4% of venture capital funding goes to female entrepreneurs, and women are significantly underrepresented in leadership roles. By addressing these imbalances, we aim to create a more inclusive, equitable economy where innovation thrives.
Our Story
After supporting female entrepreneurs in Denmark for many years, Patricia Montesinos published a book in 2018 on the challenges between female entrepreneurs and investors.
In Switzerland, she saw a lack of female entrepreneurs and wanted to address this missed opportunity for economic growth and innovation. Patricia gathered a group of like-minded individuals, and they developed a strong model focused on turning research into practical solutions.
In November 2022, Patricia Montesinos, Maria-Luisa Fuchs, Francesca Ronzio and Edona Gutaj legally registered the FE+MALE Think Tank as a Non-Profit Organization. Since then, the think tank has launched and executed different projects: Innova Trends, The Inclusive Way Initiative and The Beat Funding Bias Initiative.
